Margaret Lucy Hughes, PT, DPT

Welcome! I’m Lucy Hughes, PT, DPT, founder of Rainjoy Therapies. I practice pelvic floor physical therapy and craniosacral therapy.

My approach is hands-on, gentle, and client-centered, blending evidence-based physical therapy with intuitive, holistic care. I believe in promoting self-efficacy—helping you understand and connect with your body so you feel empowered in your healing journey. Every session is guided by collaboration and respect for your story, ensuring you feel safe, supported, and heard.

I’m drawn to the quiet stories the body carries. My professional experience has taught me that these stories don’t respond to force, but to acceptance and genuine presence. In my work, I listen closely to your body’s subtle patterns, responses, and the parts of you that have been doing their best for a long time. I follow the pace of your nervous system, respecting its timing and wisdom.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, walks in nature with my dog, and spending time with my daughter and husband.
